In the advanced German C1.3 course, participants learn to use the German language confidently at an academic level. Historical, political and social topics are discussed in detail. For this purpose, specialized texts, essays and scientific articles are read, interpreted and analyzed. Grammar picks up previously learned material and applies it in a university context, for example verbalizations, nominalizations and noun-verb combinations.

This course starts every Saturday and lasts four weeks. The online lessons take place from 09:00 to 15:00.

You will be able to use the German language flexibly in a university environment.
You can read and understand technical articles, essays and papers without difficulty and reduce them to the relevant points of view and statements.
You can reproduce complex facts without difficulty.
You can also explain scientific topics in writing in a structured, clear and comprehensible manner.
You can give presentations on academic papers in your field and participate fully in subsequent discussions.
This course starts every Saturday and lasts four weeks.

Important: This course uses material from various books. This will be provided by the instructors. It is not necessary to purchase a textbook.
Prerequisites: Proof of a language certificate or placement test for the desired course level is required.
Completion: At the end of the level (e.g. A1.2, A2.2, B1.2, B2.3, C1,3)
participants take a final exam to prove that they have successfully completed the course and to document their own learning progress.
