The German B1.2 course focuses on vocabulary development and gives you the opportunity to deal with topics that go beyond everyday life. Art, culture, politics and history are covered as well as relationships and the future. Grammar is expanded and deepened with conjunctions and adverbs, among other things.
LIVE lessons via BigBlueButton (virtual classroom), discussion groups, homework upload, lecturer contacts, test assignments – you will find everything clearly arranged on our learning platform.

This course starts every Monday or the first workday of the Week and lasts four weeks. The online lessons take place from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 12:30.
This is what you will achieve after four weeks:
Read and understand texts in everyday language.
Write letters describing personal impressions and experiences.
Basic understanding of radio and television programmes in which current events are reported.
Simple sentences to exchange experiences, events or wishes are no longer a problem. A short summary of a book or film is also possible.
This course contains:
20 live stream lessons (2×90 min. each + break) and recordings.
Text, audio and video learning materials.
Homework and progress tests.
Discussion forums where you can connect with other students.
Teacher support via email and JHK portal.
Important: The textbook for this course is DaF Kompakt neu B1. This is not included in the course price and must be purchased separately.
Prerequisites: Proof of a language certificate or a placement test for the desired course level is required.
Completion: At the end of the level (e.g. A1.2, A2.2, B1.2, B2.3, C1,3)
participants take a final examination to prove that they have successfully completed the course and to document their own learning progress.
